The
five-star Radisson SAS Alcron Hotel , Prague is located just off the
famous boulevard, Wenceslas Square, in the heart of the commercial
district surrounded by historical monuments.
The Alcron Hotel was originally constructed in 1930 and enjoyed
the enviable reputation of being Jazz-age 'in' Prague hotel. Its
outstanding history and rich tradition reaches back to the 1. half
of last century and is an important part of the history of the

Today,
under the management of the Radisson
SAS, this luxurious hotel can once again command its
deserved centre stage. The whole building was restored in 1998
under a gentle hand of the architect Mrs. Maria K. Vafiadis, who
preserved much of the interior and even used fragments of original
Art Deco decoration.
Within, there are 211 luxurious, airy rooms and suites with high
ceilings and classic period furnishing. Among the first-class
facilities are: fax
and PC connections, three telephone lines, in-room entertainment
system providing access to the Internet and video games for every
guest, pay TV, safe, trousers press and refreshing minibar. |

spacious marble bathrooms are fitted with a vanity mirror, a
hairdryer and a scale. There are also nonsmoking rooms and special
rooms for disabled guests.

upgraded Royal Club rooms include the following services free of

movies, daily newspaper, toll-free & credit card access calls,
minibar, coffee and tea making facilities, access to fitness
center and sauna, bathrobe and slippers, turn-down service, and
separate a la carte breakfast at the Alcron Restaurant.
Conference centre - is
situated on 2nd floor. The Crystal Ballroom of 215 mē
with a magnificent glass dome with 5 adjoining salons and 3
boardrooms behind create an excellent conference space with
natural light for about 200 people. |
La
Rotonde Restaurant - the elegant 130 seat restaurant serves an
exquisite choice of international cuisine and traditional local
dishes. A lovely outdoor terrace provides informal dining in the
summer months.
The La Rotonde Restaurant has also had the
honour of given, amongst others, the 'TOP RESTAURANT IN PRAGUE'
Alcron Restaurant -
newly built in September 2000, this unique restaurant offers fish
and seafood specialities of the top quality. With its maximum of
28 seats, is aimed to attract the most exclusive clientele.
The Alcron Restaurant has received a number of awards,
including 'THE INTERNATIONAL FIVE STAR DIAMOND AWARD 2003'
BY THE AMERICAN ACADEMY OF HOSPITALITY SCIENCES
In
addition to the latest security features installed in each room,
there is 24 hour room service, laundry and dry cleaning service,
the hotel has its own underground parking, 24-hour limousine
